Janitorial Maintenance Worker
Job Summary
The Janitorial Maintenance position, under the direction of the Maintenance Manager, will primarily be responsible to present a positive and professional image of the organization in all interactions and cleanliness. The Janitorial Maintenance Worker must have the ability to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times and ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing. The Janitorial Maintenance position mush have a high school diploma or equivalent.

Job Duties
- Prepare in set up of classes and Museum events and functions as instructed by Manager
- Maintain cleaning duties of offices, meeting and boardrooms, hanger floors, windows, washrooms, exterior grounds and parking lots.
- Coordinate the logistical aspects of set up and take down duties for meetings, seminars, workshops, special projects, and events
- Present a positive and professional image of the organization when interacting with employees, clients/customers, visitors, and other external stakeholders

Work Conditions
- Working in an environment subject to frequent temperature changes
- Operation of lawn mowers, snow blowers, floor buffers, vacuums, pressure washer, sound systems, trimmers, etc. a necessity
- Exposure to hazards associated with the industry/trade
- Extended periods of walking, standing (outdoors and indoors)
- Interaction with employees, management, and the public at large
- Extended periods of stooping, bending, and kneeling

- Working in a busy office environment with frequent interruptions

Job Type: Part-time
Salary: $16.55-$20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
