Terrace Lodge "the heart of caring and sharing" Terrace Lodge is a 100-bed long-term care home in the Township of Malahide. Situated in beautiful Elgin County, our home features private and semi-private accommodation with 24-hour nursing care. Outdoor areas to relax with family, as well as living and dining areas are available for resident enjoyment.
Responsibilities:
The Dietary Aide is responsible for basic food preparation assisting the Cook where needed and handling food in accordance with safety and sanitary regulations. The individual will be responsible for service of food, setting and clearing tables; receiving goods delivered to the dietary department; keeping accurate records; maintaining safe and sanitary work environment by knowing the proper procedures for operating and cleaning all equipment, utensils, work surfaces etc. used in food service areas.

- Cook Diploma or Food Service Worker Certificate
- Current Food Handlers Certificate
- Good verbal communication skills
- Experience in an institutional kitchen preferred
- Proof of qualifications must be provided at time of application
- Currently enrolled in a Food and/or Nutrition Program would be considered an asset.
