We are looking for 2 motivated people to join our dynamic team at Leacock Retirement Lodge in Orillia.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Follow established policies, procedures, work systems and cleaning procedures to meet regulatory requirements
- Ensures food is prepared and served in accordance with health and food guidelines
- Participates in meal presentation
- Works cooperatively with the interdisciplinary team
- Assists in organizing food preparation to ensure all meals and snacks are served on time, at an appropriate temperature, texture and quantity
- Cleans, cares for and stores equipment properly in designated areas after each use
- Responsible for reporting any required repair work or deficiency in the environment
- Delivers and serves meals according to residents assessed needs
- Assists with dining room clean-up, tear down, set up, dishes and garbage disposable
- Assists in preparing the food and the environment for all special events
- Must participate on various lodge and department committees as required
- Must actively participate in ongoing educational opportunities
- Works cooperatively with volunteers and student placements to enhance the scope of the department
- Is competent in the safe use of chemicals (WHMIS guidelines)
This position works a variety of shifts from Mon-Sun,
This position is mainly for servers but also you have the opportunity to learn other positions should you be interested. i.e. Assistant Cook and Breakfast Cook. Our staff enjoy developing new skills and improving their employment circumstances.
