Jr. Marketing Coordinator - Vancouver, Bc

Rove Concepts is a high-end, online mid-century modern furniture business with a head office located in Vancouver, BC. With a strong online presence and a commitment to timeless design, we strive to create inspiring spaces for our customers. Our growth has led us to occupy five showrooms across North America, and now expanding into New York and San Francisco. We continue to expand our showroom spaces to provide exceptional customer experiences.

This role will work closely with our marketing team and be responsible for enhancing Rove Concepts’ brand and reputation through tasks across all aspects including but not limited to PR, Influencer Marketing and both organic and paid social. We’re looking for a digital marketing expert who can think outside the box and can bring both a creative energy alongside analytical reasoning. Given the nature of our business, you’re resilient and flexible with a self-motivated personality in order to keep up with the latest social and marketing trends.

WHAT YOU'll DO:

• Assist the marketing team with helping to coordinate tasks across various areas including but not limited to PR, social media, and influencer marketing
• Manage day-to-day aspect of digital marketing needs including but not limited to email and social channel communications
• Work cross-functionally with internal counterparts on editorial pieces, social media promotions, external relations and business development
• Research and find new opportunities with social including brands and trends
• Develop and maintain a contact database with media partners and media
• Tracking deliverables and updating the team and calendar where relevant
• Prepare media tracking reports and analyses as needed

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

• You graduated post-secondary education with a major in either Marketing, Communications or similar
• You are social media savvy and know your ins and outs of all trending social media platforms
• Follow what is trending in terms of like-minded ecommerce brands and industry
• You like to display your creativity through writing headlines, creating social posts and developing unique campaign ideas
• You have strong attention to detail and you’re precise when proofreading for grammar, spelling, and punctuation
• You have an analytical side to you and you understand key metrics in order to garner necessary insights
• You’re a strategic thinker and love creative problem solving
• You have excellent organizational and project management skills and you’ve had proven experience
• You’re an ambitious go-getter, excited to learn and grow with the organization
• Bonus points if you know the industry in furniture and/or high-end brands
