Junior Banking Administrator

Olympia is looking to hire a Junior Banking Administrator to join our Financial Services team in the Calgary office.

This is a part-time position with the potential of becoming full-time.

Role Responsibilities

• Upholds the division and Olympia’s reputation and values, while promoting our motto “With Us, It’s Personal” in all interactions with employees, clients, and business associates
• Preparing/approving EFT/ payments
• Preparing/approving wire payments
• Depositing cheques-e-deposit
• Updating Excel based General Ledgers
• Responding to and following up internal and external account inquiries
• Cheque Filing
• Other duties related to the efficient operation of the position

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment.

Experience and Skills

• Minimum of 2 years/banking practical accounting experience
• Intermediate computer skills including MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
• Successful completion of a Criminal Background check is required
