Reports to: Account Manager
Position Summary:
We are currently searching for a professional, detail oriented and safety focused individual for our Junior Site Coordinator position. The Junior Site Coordinator maintains all existing client relationships and acts as the field point of contact with all Workforce Inc. personnel. Safe set up, prompt transportation and detailed maintenance of commitments is paramount to the success of the position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Be continuously aware of and in pursuit of opportunities for existing improvements to safety and operations.
- Be responsible for client, candidate, and supplier communications.
- Communicate with clients’ management teams to understand immediate and future needs.
- Collaborate with the recruiter, general manager, and account manager to obtain and achieve responsibilities.
- Coach, audit, train, and mentor personnel resources pre-deployment, during assignment and post completion.
- Travel and support alternate northern offices with project coordination support.
- Maintain equipment owned and/or rented by the company.
- Provide continuous two-way communication between the field and the office to ensure needs are being met.
- Manage the budget by monitoring expenditures and revenue and identifying and implementing cost controls.
- Obtain documents and information from clients and candidates and ensure proper recording and storage.
- Monitor Workforce Inc’s safety practices to ensure compliance with applicable provincial employment, human rights legislation and the OHSA.
- Maintain data integrity of management programs by ensuring accurate information is provided and/or entered.
- Maintain a high-profile presence by continuously fostering positive relationships with clients and candidates.
- Prepare, setup and coordinate confined spaces.
- Oversee and support confined space personnel.
- Position Workforce Inc as the premier supplier of trades, labor, and safety professionals in the North.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Knowledge of the OHSA as it pertains to construction and mining.

- Highly developed interpersonal and relationship building skills.
- General knowledge of employment laws and practices.
- Working knowledge of confined space coordinator, rescue, and attendant responsibilities
Education and Experience
- Post secondary diploma/degree in a related discipline or a minimum of 3 years relevant experience.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience on site.
