The Kitchen Assistant position will be responsible for assisting the team with the preparation of food and other activities in the kitchen.

• Previous experience in a full-service restaurant considered to be an asset but not needed

Butter Baker is a Toronto based French bakery that is known for making the finest croissants, cakes, pastries and ice cream using classic French confectionery cookery and techniques. Location: 120 Dundas St W, Toronto, ON

Position Description: 2 full time/ part time/ Kitchen Assistants

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior experience in a similar role preferred
• Ability to work in a team environment, perform basic math and communicate effectively with others
• Must be able to communicate effectively and maintain good customer service skills
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $16.55-$16.99 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
