We are looking for an experienced cook and kitchen manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking and a commitment to quality. Responsibilities include preparing ingredients, following recipes, adhering to food safety regulations, and working with other cooks to ensure that all dishes are cooked in a timely manner. The successful candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and have excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food.
- Prepare and cook food according to recipes and production guidelines.
- Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Ensure proper food safety and sanitation standards are followed.
- Follow health and safety guidelines for food preparation.
- Monitor product freshness and rotate out old product based on a schedule.
