Kitchen Manager/Cook

We are looking for an experienced cook and kitchen manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking and a commitment to quality. Responsibilities include preparing ingredients, following recipes, adhering to food safety regulations, and working with other cooks to ensure that all dishes are cooked in a timely manner. The successful candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and have excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food.
• Prepare and cook food according to recipes and production guidelines.
• Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Ensure proper food safety and sanitation standards are followed.
• Follow health and safety guidelines for food preparation.
• Monitor product freshness and rotate out old product based on a schedule.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Experience:

• cooking in a fast paced restaurant: 3 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Food Handler Certification (preferred)
