Job Description:

As a Sushi Maker at Sushi 4 You, you will play a crucial role in creating delicious and visually appealing sushi dishes for our customers. Your primary responsibilities will include:

Sushi Preparation: Prepare various types of sushi, sashimi, and other Japanese dishes according to established recipes and quality standards.

Ingredient Management: Ensure the freshness and quality of all ingredients used in sushi preparation. Monitor and manage inventory levels to minimize waste and maintain cost-effectiveness.

Quality Control: Uphold high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency. Conduct regular checks to ensure that all sushi dishes meet our specifications.

Sanitation and Safety: Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and hygienic work environment. Follow proper handling procedures for raw fish and other ingredients.

Collaboration: Work closely with other Kitchen Staff and team members to coordinate the timing of food production and ensure a smooth flow in the kitchen.

Customer Interaction: Interact with customers at the sushi bar, providing a friendly and engaging experience. Address customer inquiries and special requests with professionalism and enthusiasm.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of various sushi types and presentation techniques.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
