Position Overview:

We are currently seeking enthusiastic and detail-oriented individuals to join our Kitchen Team as Kitchen Team Members. As an integral part of our culinary team, you will contribute to the preparation of traditional West African dishes, ensuring that our commitment to quality and consistency is upheld in every order.

Responsibilities:

1. Food Preparation:

Prepare and cook a variety of traditional West African dishes, with a focus on recipes from Ghana and Nigeria. Follow established recipes and cooking techniques to maintain the authentic flavors and quality of our dishes. Ensure all ingredients are fresh, properly portioned, and prepared to the highest standards.

2. Quality Control:

Monitor food during cooking to ensure it meets our high-quality standards.

Conduct taste tests and visual inspections to guarantee consistency in taste, texture, and presentation. Take corrective actions when necessary to address any deviations from the established standards.

3. Kitchen Organization:

Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following food safety and sanitation guidelines.

Assist in inventory management, ensuring adequate stock levels of ingredients and supplies.

Collaborate with the Kitchen Team to streamline operations and optimize efficiency.

4. Team Collaboration:

Work collaboratively with other Kitchen Team Members to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.

Communicate effectively with colleagues to coordinate preparation and cooking times.

Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a kitchen environment, preferably with a focus on West African cuisine.

Knowledge and appreciation of traditional Ghanaian and Nigerian dishes.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while staying organized and focused.

Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a passion for delivering exceptional food.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $16.50-$21.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 45 per week
