Housekeeping services is currently seeking a Part Time worker to assist with our Laundry Operations. You must be available to work every Saturday and Sunday from 3pm to 11pm. This position is a fast paced and demanding environment that requires lifting of stacks of towels, lots of bending and pulling laundry from the machines.
Tasks to be performed
- Maintain and run laundry operations, including; washing, drying and folding towels, washing, ironing, folding and restocking of supplies
- Maintain laundry machines and cleanliness
- Reporting machine malfunctions to supervisor
- Report down time to supervisor for extra tasks to be performed
- Perform Janitorial duties in an assigned work area; empty and clean refuse containers, vacuum and mop floors, etc.
Knowledge and Skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to take initiative and ownership of tasks
- Follow direction and work well without supervision
- Able to think on your feet and work efficiently
