Laundry Attendant

We are looking for highly motivated, enthusiastic team players to join our Rentals team as a Laundry Attendant.

This is a Full-Time, seasonalposition for our Leduc Dealership from April 2024 - Oct 2024. Hours and days of work will be determined by business levels. The dealership is open 8:30am - 5pm Monday to Saturday.

Job Duties

• Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as cleaning dishes and bedding.
• Folding laundry efficiently and neatly.
• Working wonders with stain and dirt removal in fabrics.
• Basic sewing repairs on fabrics if required.
• Protect equipment and make sure there are no inadequacies.
• Notify superiors on any damages, deficits or disturbances.
• Check stocking levels of all consumables.
• Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices.
• Performs other duties as required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Class 5 driver’s license and clean drivers abstract
• Work experience in housekeeping / laundry.
• Interest in RVs.
• Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance.
• Customer-oriented and friendly.
• Prioritization and time management skills.
• Working quickly without compromising quality.
• Knowledge of English language (considered an asset)

Work Conditions

• Shift work required, including evening, weekends and early mornings.
• Overtime may be required.
• Ability to remain standing for long periods and to bending, twist, push, pull and carry equipment and supplies.
• Lifting or moving up to 50lbs may be required
• Manual dexterity required to operate cleaning equipment including power washers and hand tools.
