Responsibilities:
- Oversee and lead a team of carpenters in various construction projects
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements
- Coordinate and schedule tasks to ensure timely completion of projects
- Perform skilled carpentry work including framing, finishing, and cabinetry installation
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure work meets industry standards
- Collaborate with clients, architects, and other contractors to ensure project success
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
Skills:
- Proficient in heavy lifting and manual labor
- Experience in restoring and renovating structures
- Knowledge of tile laying techniques and materials
- Skilled in general maintenance person tasks such as painting, plumbing, and electrical work
- Familiarity with siding installation and repair
- Expertise in drywall installation and finishing
- Experience operating CNC machinery for precision woodworking
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately
- Proficient in caulking and sealing techniques for a professional finish
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
