We are currently seeking a Learning & Development Manager who will be responsible for the design, creation and leadership of the training and development programs for our associates who work in Operations, Quality, R&D and other talent who design, make, ship, and test our products or support those who do.  In addition, the L&D Manager will deliver skill-based, technical and developmental training experiences to support the current and long-term needs of the organization

What we’ll get you doing:

  • Develop, own, and maintain training material, applying best fit for purpose learning methodologies.
  • Create a Phenomenex L&D strategy to include site/functional requirements to aid implementation of this strategy.
  • Identify gaps in training / expectations of associates and leaders and collaborate with stakeholders to identify and implement training and development opportunities and create and facilitate training programs/courses for different styles of training techniques, including e-learning, tutorial sessions or coaching.
  • Identify / create and facilitate material to improve interpersonal skills for team leads and associates.
  • Support the creation of and implementation of an associate development program for select groups.

The essential requirements of the role include:

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Minimum of five (5) years of work experience required, (3) of which are of related experience.
  • Understanding of current Good Manufacturing Practices and Good Laboratory Practices to apply to our training and development program.
  • Experience using a learning management software to house and track training.
  • Keep informed of the compliance and regulatory requirements. Participate in training on regulatory issues affecting production.
  • Experienced in working with leadership to ensure compliance with required training programs.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Prior experience in cGMP manufacturing
  •  Proven track record of implementing or maintaining and enhancing a learning and development program in a manufacturing organization with 300+ associates.

The salary range for this role is $82k – $113k. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
