Reporting to the Commander, the Logistics Student will assist with receipt, delivery, inventory and restock of Paramedic Service assets and equipment. The Logistic Student may also be required to assist with logistical supports for special events such and public gatherings. The Logistics Student would assist Fleet Mechanic with activities related to the servicing of ES vehicles. The Logistics Student may be assigned other duties in the provision of Emergency Services by the Logistics Commander or designate.
Qualifications:
· Current enrolment in a college or university program.
· Registration in September 2024 at a post-secondary institution is a pre-requisite.
· Valid Class “G” drivers’ license.
· Proficient in the use of computers and Apple devices.
· The ability to capture detail while documenting the movement of equipment and supplies.
· Comfortable with learning web-based applications.
· Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
· Self-starter with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
· Good interpersonal skills coupled with an ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written forms.
· Must provide personal CSA approved safety boots/footwear.
