Role Overview
The successful candidate for this role will report to the Site Lead Onsite Services and is responsible for ensuring that WCD customers receive courteous and professional service.
Key Results
Mailroom / Shipping / Porter Services
- Provide labour for mailroom services from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM on weekdays, excluding statutory holidays.
- Receive, sort, and manage incoming or outgoing Canada Post mail, couriers, certified, and/or registered mail, as well as freight pallets. Dispatch on the first available mail run from the centralized mailroom.
- Manage outgoing Canada Post mail daily.
- Receive and deliver all incoming mail or courier shipments.
- Handle special delivery requests and maintain proper documentation.
- Greet employees and guests professionally and courteously.
- Answer all calls professionally and courteously.
- Ensure exceptional customer service at all times.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- A solid understanding of computers and office equipment is a requirement.
- Strong ability to remain organized and manage multiple projects and duties
- Ability to be detail-oriented is a requirement.
- Strong fluency in English written and verbal skills is a requirement.
