Maintenance Coordinator

Our business is currently seeking an Afternoon Maintenance Coordinator with a great attitude who wants to join the Grace Team!

Position: Afternoon Maintenance Coordinator – Work from Home position (after training complete) for the right candidate

Wage: $18.00 per hour

Hours: Monday to Friday – 3:00pm to 11:30pm (1/2 hour lunch)

Responsibilities:

• Answer all phone calls related to R&M after regular office hours (3:00pm-11:30pm)
• Determine the type of repair needed by working with the driver & if needed (large repairs) management.
• Responsible for sourcing on road repair vehicles, scheduling into our in-house shop, working with Management to determine large repairs & tows.
• Data entry (Work Orders creation & completion, tracking on the road repair costs, Cost Comparisons between shops and outside service)
• Answering phones and driver support
• Keep track of each call and report on it / hand off the night repairs to the day shift
• Utilize our GPS and in-house systems to guide repair trucks to our trucks or guide our drivers into a shop nearby to complete repair.

Requirements:

• Experience working in a truck shop/ maintenance / service style role an asset.
• Heavy truck or equipment knowledge will be an asset. (Help determining needs for an on-road repair)
• Data entry
• Organizational skills
• Punctuality

Work Location: Approx 4 weeks’ training (based on experience and comfort level) in the office and work from home after training.
