Department: Maintenance Function

Overview:

Pembina’s Gas Services Business Unit (GBU) is currently seeking a Maintenance Information Specialist with a background in maintenance planning & experience working within a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). This position is geared towards those who are hardworking, self-motivated, and eager to be part of a growing maintenance team.


The Maintenance Information Specialist assists the Maintenance Team with effective maintenance management information and contributes to safe and efficient maintenance work execution including job completion, and historical records capture.


The Gas Services Business Unit provides gas gathering, compression, shallow cut processing and both sweet and sour deep cut processing services for its customers, primarily on a fee-for-service basis under long-term contracts.

Responsibilities may include but not limited to:

  • Have a positive mindset and demeanor with a team collaboration focus;
  • Consistently demonstrates a thorough understanding and adheres to Corporate Policies and Safety Management Standards;
  • Consistently support safety culture;
  • Complete all training assignments and maintain certifications;
  • Follows reporting requirements for Incidents, Near Misses, Hazard Identification, Environmental spills/releases, and Regulatory Compliance;
  • Demonstrates understands and adheres to Maintenance Work and Master Data Management processes;
  • Assist Maintenance Foreman/Leads with break-in work order information entry – create service & material requisitions from obtained quotes from leads/techs;
  • Assist with processing work orders, entering Contractor condition and malfunction reports, and completion confirmations, which includes TSU (integrity, environment, and regulatory);
  • Confirm and close out Contractor work center work order operations as they are completed;
  • Assist with historical records capture, document retention and compliance reporting;
  • Attach documentation to Z2 condition reports / Z3 notifications – Calibration reports, PSV certification reports, etc;
  • Submit Master Data notifications to sustain the functional location and equipment hierarchy;
  • Coordinate and support bulk data loads with the Master Data Team;
  • Assist with new Material Master requests and extensions;
  • Train as Procedure Accelerator writer to transition maintenance procedures to PA;
  • Ensure and encourage ongoing collaboration with all stakeholders;
  • Practice respectful and effective communication at all levels; and
  • Participate and support an equitable, diverse, and inclusive workplace.

Qualifications:

  • Provincial Instrumentation Journeyman Certificate;
  • Grade 12 high school diploma with post-secondary or industry/employer recognized education;
  • Minimum five-years of related industry experience;
  • Valid Class 5 Driver’s License;
  • Excellent working knowledge of MS Office and SAP or a demonstrated aptitude working with other business-related computer programs and applications;
  • Possess effective written and verbal communication skills, along with analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities;
  • Practice continuous improvement; and
  • Demonstrating business acumen through effective multitasking and organizational skills.


This position is considered “Safety Sensitive” so will require Pre-Employment Drug & Alcohol Testing. You may also be required to provide a Driver’s Abstract. The successful candidate must live within 100 km of
Hythe, AB.


The successful candidate must be legally able to work in the country of the position. Final candidate will be required to undergo Pre-Employment Background Checks including a Criminal Record Check.
