This role will have you working one on one with many truck drivers in and outside of the company. You will be responsible for handling incoming calls as well as walk-in customers looking for truck maintenance and washing services. Your office will be located in the maintenance shop alongside the maintenance staff to better assist customers and staff as needed.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Liaison between customers and company
- Obtains customer information to ensure the work order is written up correctly
- Record and monitor customer complaints
- Handle incoming calls as well as walk in customers - provide customer updates with repair times & costs
- schedule appointment(s)
- Open work orders, assist with tracking attendance
- Process manual credit card payments
- Perform various copying, scanning, filing, and faxing services
- Maintain customer communication and repair estimates
QUALIFICATIONS STANDARDS
Education
- A high school diploma and/or GED is required.
- Combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skill, and abilities.
Experience
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft programs (ie. Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- 3-5 years industry related experience
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, communication and written skills
- Commitment to customer satisfaction
