What will I be doing?
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you are responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Perform chemical tests for the hot tubs.
- Perform cleaning activities such as dusting, mopping etc.
- Perform minor fixes such as repairing broken locks, filling gaps on walls, etc.
- Check control panels and electrical wiring to identify issues.
- Install appliances and equipment.
- Do garden/yard upkeep by mowing lawn, collecting trash etc.
- Conduct maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs.
- Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems (e.g. ventilation).
- Check functionality of safety systems (e.g. fire alarm).
- Collaborate with workers and other professionals during renovations.
- Report to Maintenance Manager any issues that need additional outside assistance.
- Ensure that all Occupational Health & Safety policies and training are followed.
- Maintain a positive working relationship with all departments
- Other related duties based on seasonal needs
- May include shift work
What are the skills, abilities and attitudes we are looking for?
- · Experience in light maintenance is an asset
- · A valid Alberta Class 5 Drivers License
- · A friendly customer-focused attitude
- · Strong verbal English communication skills with emphasis on problem-solving.
- · Must be a team player and willing to learn new skills and procedures
- · Attention to detail.
- · Must be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
- · Must have a valid work permit for Canada to be considered.
- · A criminal record check will be required

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $19.30-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
