What will I be doing?
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you are responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Perform chemical tests for the hot tubs.
• Perform cleaning activities such as dusting, mopping etc.
• Perform minor fixes such as repairing broken locks, filling gaps on walls, etc.
• Check control panels and electrical wiring to identify issues.
• Install appliances and equipment.
• Do garden/yard upkeep by mowing lawn, collecting trash etc.
• Conduct maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs.
• Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems (e.g. ventilation).
• Check functionality of safety systems (e.g. fire alarm).
• Collaborate with workers and other professionals during renovations.
• Report to Maintenance Manager any issues that need additional outside assistance.
• Ensure that all Occupational Health & Safety policies and training are followed.
• Maintain a positive working relationship with all departments
• Other related duties based on seasonal needs
• May include shift work

What are the skills, abilities and attitudes we are looking for?

• · Experience in light maintenance is an asset
• · A valid Alberta Class 5 Drivers License
• · A friendly customer-focused attitude
• · Strong verbal English communication skills with emphasis on problem-solving.
• · Must be a team player and willing to learn new skills and procedures
• · Attention to detail.
• · Must be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
• · Must have a valid work permit for Canada to be considered.
• · A criminal record check will be required

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $19.30-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
