Your days will include:

· Maintain the Feed Mill in outstanding operating condition

· Planning preventative maintenance repairs to minimize mill downtime and maximize life expectancy of equipment

· Support projects including working on project teams as required in the design, installation and commission of new or modified equipment.

· Maintaining records of maintenance repairs and improvements

· Assisting the Mill Manager with any feed production plans

· Assisting in preventing feed contamination/slippage

· Performing various maintenance tasks

· Maintaining a clean and organized shop

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

• A Red Seal Industrial Mechanic/Millwright or Industrial Electrician preferred, apprentice or extensive amount of mechanic experience acceptable, will also train for apprentice
• 5 years’ experience in maintenance
• Thrives in safety friendly culture
• Excels in a continuous improvement environment
• Availability to be on call and work weekends
• Class 5 Drivers license
• Class 5 or higher boiler certificate an asset
