Maintenance Worker

Maintenance and Repair:

• Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify maintenance needs.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as repairing equipment, fixtures, and facilities.
• Address any plumbing, electrical, or structural issues promptly.

Groundskeeping:

• Maintain the landscaping, including mowing the lawn, trimming bushes, and planting flowers.
• Clear snow and ice from walkways and parking areas during the winter months.
• Ensure the overall cleanliness and aesthetic appeal of the outdoor areas.

Facilities Management:

• Inspect, maintain, and repair all property facilities including pools, tennis courts and moorings.
• Ensure that all equipment is in safe and working condition.

Security and Safety:

• Enforce safety regulations and respond to emergencies.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and address potential hazards.

Event Support:

• Set up and take down equipment for events and activities hosted at the facility.
• Collaborate with event organizers to ensure that the facility meets their specific requirements.

Customer Service:

• Interact with members and guests in a friendly and helpful manner.
• Assist with inquiries and provide information about the facility and its amenities.

Record Keeping:

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
• Track inventory of supplies and equipment.

Collaboration with Other Staff:

• Work collaboratively with other staff members, such as lifeguards, and administrative staff.
• Communicate effectively to address shared responsibilities and ensure a smooth operation.

Adherence to Policies and Procedures:

• Follow established policies and procedures related to facility operations and safety.
• Stay informed about any updates or changes in protocols.

Additionally, a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are often valued traits in facilities workers.
