In support of the Vision, Mission and Values of LutherCare Communities, the Care Division is seeking a high performing individual to join our team as a Manager of Resident Care. THE POSITION
The Resident Care Manager will work within the organizations Care Division which includes the Luther Special Care Home in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan which has 126 Long Term Care beds (including a specialized dementia unit) along with the operation of 4 adult day programs that are run within the City of Saskatoon including a highly regarded specialized day program for adults with dementia.
Reporting to the Director of Care, the Manager, Resident Care works collaboratively with other Resident Care Managers to provide day-to-day operational direction, leadership, and management of assigned special care home residential neighbourhood(s) and/or assigned adult day programs. The Manager is responsible for guiding and coaching staff and developing and implementing strategies to deliver services at best possible levels of stakeholder satisfaction and cost effectiveness to ensure high quality, safe and resident/client focused care is achieved. The incumbent is a member of the management team and as such participates in the overall management of the division.
QUALIFICATIONS
Eligible for RN/RPN/LPN registration in Saskatchewan, BScN preferred.
Superior leadership and interpersonal skills
Effectively addresses concerns of residents/clients, families, and staff.
Effectively works with residents, committees, contractors, and other departments of LCC.
Effective skills in human resource management and supervision
