The Manager is responsible for the performance and profitability of the location assigned and delivers corporate directives and executes through their respective team and location. They are strategic in Sales and Operations, building a high performing engaged team. A successful Manager delivers service excellence, profitable sales growth, continuous improvement, market share increases and strong customer and community relationships. Is accountable for overseeing all aspects of team compliance and execution of corporate goals and values.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a high performing team, including recruiting, hiring, on boarding, training, motivating, exiting, and managing performance. Sales growth is top of mind.
- Provide and document constructive feedback and coaching to team members.
- Communicate openly and frequently e.g., Conducts daily engagement meeting to ensure team is informed on current performance, challenges and objectives.
- Document low performers and complete a performance improvement plan (documented) for files.
- Responsible for cross training all team members and succession planning for each staff.
Experience:
- Degree or an advanced degree in business administration, management, or a field related to the industry or related experience.
- Experience in change management.
- Sound analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, and execution skills.
- Knowledge of and exposure to a range of B2B customer environments.
- Experience in some of the following: recruitment, orientation, on going training, performance management, employee relations, employee communications, and conflict resolution.
- Effective leadership skills, with a strong focus on mentoring and motivation of employees. Demonstrated team management and time management skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the sales process, development, and implementation of sales plans and programs. Demonstrated experience creating and implementing organizational sales tools, systems, and programs.
- Ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret goals, objectives, and policies. Ability to manage files from start to finish.
- Ability to identify issues and implement creative and strategic solutions to overcome problems. Proven ability to develop and implement training and development courses.
