Manufacturing Bookkeeper

A leading name in the biotech/pharma manufacturing industry is searching for a Manufacturing Bookkeeper to join their team in San Diego, CA! This is a permanent role with a hybrid work model, offering the flexibility of working from home two days a week and the opportunity to be part of a team that values integrity, respect, and teamwork. They are looking for someone with at least 3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting to manage a variety of financial tasks, including accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, reconciliations, and ensuring accuracy in all financial transactions. Pay Range: $65,000 - $70,000 DOE
Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts payable and receivable, processing under 100 invoices per week
• Perform invoicing and reconciliations, with a keen eye for details to ensure accuracy
• Verify purchase orders and ensure correct billing for custom manufacturing projects
• Maintain timely completion of month-end tasks and submission by the 15th of each month
• Collaborate with vendors to resolve any discrepancies and ensure accuracy in billing
• Support a retail model, working directly with distributors and handling numerous purchase orders

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, with a background in bookkeeping or accounting
• Bachelor's degree with 3 years of experience or 5 years of experience with no degree
• Proficiency in Netsuite (strongly preferred) and intermediate knowledge of Excel
• Exceptional attention to detail, patience, and time management skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and respectful approach
• Experience in the biotech or manufacturing industry is preferred but not required
