OVERVIEW
We are seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to oversee a broad range of marketing activities, including SEO optimization for both The Cove Lakeside Resort and our sister property Outback Lakeside Vacation Homes. The ideal candidate will have a background in digital marketing, brand management, and ability to multitask.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement comprehensive digital marketing strategies to increase online visibility, drive traffic, and boost bookings.
- Utilize data-driven insights to optimize digital campaigns across various platforms.
- Oversee all aspects of the resort's social media presence, including content creation, community engagement, and influencer partnerships.
- Manage and update the resort's website to ensure it reflects current offerings, promotions, and a seamless user experience.
- Oversee strategic paid media campaigns across various platforms, such as Google Ads and Meta Ads. This includes campaign oversight, budget management, performance tracking, and ongoing optimization.
- Implement SEO best practices to enhance website visibility and performance.
- Use analytics tools to monitor and evaluate the performance of digital marketing campaigns, social media efforts, and website traffic.
- Manage and optimize email marketing and blog posts.
- Collaborate with partners to create mutually beneficial campaigns and promotions.
- Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, influencers, and key industry stakeholders.
- Develop and distribute press releases and promotional materials to enhance the resort's media presence.
- Provide regular reports with actionable insights to optimize strategies.
- Craft compelling and persuasive copy for various marketing materials, including website content, promotional materials, and advertising campaigns.
- Attend relevant events, conferences, and networking opportunities to expand the resort's presence and connections.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field is an asset
- Proven experience in a similar marketing management role.
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing tools and techniques with proficiency in Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, SEO practices, and CRM platforms.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and experience in partnership management.
- Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Canva, Adobe DC.
- Qualified applicants must be legally eligible to work in Canada and, where applicable, possess a valid work or study permit that allows them to fulfill the requirements of the role.

Salary: $60,000 to $65,000 per annum
