Committed to providing top-quality products, we are expanding our team and seeking an accomplished Marketing Manager to lead our strategic marketing initiatives.

As the Marketing Specialist at Douglas Lake Equipment and Avenue Machinery, you will contribute to shaping the strategic vision and take the lead in executing hands-on marketing initiatives. Reporting directly to the General Manager – Sales and Marketing, you will be responsible for a range of tasks, from developing comprehensive marketing plans to overseeing the execution of campaigns and managing the marketing budget. Job Duties

• Collaborate with management to create targeted marketing strategies aligned with company objectives and execute on those strategies.
• Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of the company’s website and social platforms.
• Maintain the online inventory listings and presentation.
• Plan, direct, and evaluate advertising campaigns to enhance brand visibility.
• Lead and collaborate with contractors in content creation, delivering high-quality visual and written assets.
• Coordinate and actively participate in the development of promotional materials.
• Plan and coordinate industry events, conferences, and trade shows in conjunction with sales managers.
• Cultivate and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers and customers.
• Work closely with sales teams to align marketing efforts with sales strategies.
• Develop, refine, and execute both digital and traditional marketing initiatives.
• Plan and control budgets for marketing campaigns, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
• Measure and report marketing metrics to Senior Management.
• Generate performance reports and analyze performance data with management to optimize future marketing strategies.
• Plan, direct, and evaluate market research studies.
• Manage contracts related to marketing initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field.
• 3 years of direct work experience in a marketing role.
• Knowledge of the agricultural industry an asset.
• Proficiency in marketing analytics tools and platforms.
• Proficiency in SEO and social media.
• Some knowledge and experience with web development including coding required, proficiency considered an asset.
• Technology & Computer literacy – Adobe Creative, WordPress, Office products, Email etiquette.
• Excellent organizational, strategic, planning, and implementing skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to guide cross-functional teams.
• Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with key business partners, co-workers, and customers.
• Leadership experience and skills an asset.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $55,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
