POSITION HIGHLIGHTS

This full-time (permanent) role offers an exciting array of material handling tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, working as part of a great team. This position offers exciting growth opportunities for a dedicated candidate.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

· Driving and maintaining forklifts as per company safety standards

· Receiving and documenting all inbound shipments as per company procedure

· Accurately recording all discrepancies and damages on shipments, and communicating this information to the supervisor

· Labeling and storing all parts in their designated locations

· Keeping the yard and shop organized and clean

QUALIFICATIONS/JOB REQUIREMENTS

· 2 years previous forklift experience (valid forklift ticket preferred)

· Ability to lift 50lbs

· Ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions

· Keen eye for detail

· Organized and can complete tasks in an efficient manner

· Valid class 5 driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract

· Previous shipping/receiving experience

· Good written and verbal communication and listening skills

· Ability to read blueprints and spreadsheets (we’re willing to train)

· Ability to work as an individual or as part of a team, and with minimal supervision

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $17.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
