Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Creates packing slips/ Bills of Lading and Part Tags / Barcode Labels.
· Ensure that all process centers have a sufficient supply of raw materials.
· Performs cycle counts as required.
· Remove skids of finished components from the work centers and stage them in the proper assigned location.
· Load and unload trucks as required following proper shipping and receiving practices.
· When receiving material from outside suppliers, input all receipts into the ERP system and generate all lot tags.
· Follow computer generated load schemes to stage loads for the following day as required.
· Generate bar code labels using the company ERP program as required.
· Dispose of all waste in proper containers and recycle and/or reuse all possible items to minimize the impact on the environment.
· Inspect two motors daily and report machinery for any safety deficiencies. Advise supervision of any issues.
· Performs daily safety checks and notifies Supervisor of any deficiencies and operates the tow-motor in a safe manner.
· Unload materials and products from incoming vehicles and stack them to assigned places.
· Locate and move stock of products for storage or shipment.
· Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies.
· Transport raw materials to production workstations.
· Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance.
Experience, Qualifications, and Skill Set Requirements:
· Must have a valid Forklift License.
· Must have good computer skills for paperwork and label generation.
· Previous experience working in an Industrial Manufacturing environment.
· Previous experience handling metal.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
· Fast Paced manufacturing shop floor environment involves frequent standing, walking, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and balancing.
· Lifts, carries, or balances up to 50 pounds.
· Frequent use of eye, hand, and finger coordination.
