INVISTA Kingston Site currently has vacancies in our Material Technician position. The Flake Packaging within the Integrated Polymer Group organization is looking for a self-motivated Material Technician to work within a team environment to operate, maintain, and improve the Flake Packaging equipment and facilities.
Our Team
Work in a team environment to operate, maintain, and improve the flake polymer transportation equipment, as well as packaging and storage facilities. Duties include loading various varieties of shipping containers including, railcar, sea bulk containers, hopper trucks, boxes and super sacks in a safe and quality-controlled manner.

- Willingness and ability to obtain a mobile equipment license and operate mobile equipment
- Assist crew members in team environment
- Demonstrate responsibility, initiative, critical thinking skills and effective decision making
- Demonstrate respectful behaviour
- Maintain a safe and clean work area
- Seek opportunities to continuously learn and apply your skills
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Valid Drivers License
- Physical condition and health compatible with all duties of a Flake PackagingMaterial Technician including climbing stationary ladders and working from high elevations
What Will Put You Ahead
- Previous work experience in the following; Warehouse Worker, Shipping and Receiving, Material Handling, Machine Operator, Manufacturing, Automation and HMI controls, EHS Stewardship roles.
