Your function
I am currently recruiting a Mechanical Designer for one of my clients. a floor covering manufacturer in the south of Montreal. This is a permanent position, 40 hours a week, on a hybrid basis.
Reporting to the Director of Engineering and Maintenance, you will be in charge of the following tasks:
- Manage various projects using standard methods
- Design and update mechanical drawings
- Enforce deadlines and ensure product quality
- Lead the team to achieve objectives
- Manage risks and propose appropriate solutions
- Act as the main interlocutor during daily production meetings

Your profile
- At least 3-5 years' experience in a similar position
- Experience in the manufacturing industry (mandatory)
- Bilingual English/French
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Proficiency in Office suite, Autocad, Solidworks, Interal (an asset)
- Salary: $85k - $95k depending on experience
