- Oversee and manage all aspects of the feed mill operations
- Operates mill production equipment - this is a working supervisor position
- Ensure efficient and safe production of animal feed
- Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands
- Monitor inventory levels
- Supervise a team of feed mill operators and provide training as needed
- Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure feed meets industry standards
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate maintenance and repairs
- Maintain accurate records of production, inventory, and equipment maintenance
```Experience```
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in feed mill operations or related field
- Strong knowledge of basic math and ability to perform calculations related to feed production
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Familiarity with programming software used in feed mill operations is a plus
- Knowledge of quality control procedures
