Role Summary
The Mobile Maintenance General Supervisor supports the coordination and supervision of work, ensuring all quality, cost, and time parameters are met and completed
Main Responsibilities | Activities
• Supervise and provide direction to the Mobile maintenance planners, Mobile Maintenance Supervisors, and Maintenance Technicians.
• Actively promote and engage in continuous improvement of Mine Maintenance processes.
• Responsible for efficient execution of all mine maintenance activities to meet the needs of the operations groups.
• Participate in the development and implementation of an asset management strategy that safely achieves production demand while maintaining and/or reducing maintenance costs.
• Collaboratively work with maintenance, operations, and engineering teams to meet the company objectives.
• Other duties as assigned.
Education, Qualifications and Experience
• 10+ years of heavy equipment maintenance experience
• Journeyperson, Technical Diploma, or Engineering degree preferred
• Ability to independently make complex decisions
• Sound knowledge of maintenance, and maintenance planning of heavy mining equipment
• Good understanding of mining operations
• Ability to create and work within high performing teams
