National HR Business Partner

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the National HRBP will be a valuable resource to the Management team at all locations and will be responsible for the planning, delivery, and support of all full cycle people initiatives across the organization.  

What You Will Do:

  • Prepare all job offers for new hires working in conjunction with the hiring managers, ensuring that all such communication is compliant with applicable employment standards.
  • Lead all Onboarding and Orientation of new hires  
  • Manage all Benefits Administration for monthly billings, new enrollments and terminations
  • Provide training resources and facilitate learning opportunities at all levels
  • Manage and support disciplinary actions when necessary and ensure related documentation is compliant and timely
  • Nurture a positive work environment company-wide and manage cultural and change management initiatives
  • Resolve HR and Employee Relations issues as they arise while promoting positive employee/management outcomes
  • Oversee employee data management
  • Utilizing and further develop an efficient HRIS platform, ensuring data and legislative compliance, staying current on provincial employment law Ensure existing policies are up to date and new HR processes & procedures are implemented where necessary
  • Support the management team with a full cycle Performance Management program
  • Work with Managers on vacancies and Recruitment needs
  • Partner with various Business Partners on confidential and potentially sensitive employee matters to ensure that the company’s best interests are always maintained

 What Will You Bring:

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma specializing in Human Resources, Business Administration or equivalent CHRP, CHRL or CHRE designation or near completion preferred
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of progressive Human Resources generalist experience with strong problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Payroll Admin experience (ADP preferred)
  • Effective communication and leadership skills with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships across the organization
  • A proven record of highly effective HR skills with project management experience
  • Exemplary negotiating and influencing skills and a positive attitude to providing win-win solutions
  • Client focused, professional, compassionate and results oriented
  • A keen awareness of modern-day HR related technologies, methodologies, and practices

 What Can We Offer:

  • Competitive compensation package  

$75,000 - $85,000 per year

Annual Bonus eligibility
