We are currently on the lookout for a New Faces Manager to join our team.
Job Summary
Reporting to Owner/Director Sophie Beaudoin and working in conjunction with the Booking Agent and Academy Director, the candidate will be expected to independently perform their usual tasks within the team on a part-time basis. The New Faces Manager is tasked with the important role of onboarding new talent into the agency. This includes the reviewing of applications submitted to the agency and scouting new talent.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruit models and talent (weekly task - interviews, selection process, onboarding).
- Review applications submitted to the agency.
- Arrange and conduct Zoom (virtual) and in-person meetings with New Faces.
- Cold calls and follow ups.
- Gain trust with prospects to overcome objections through individualized service, and facilitate a signed contract or program registration.
- Oversee the onboarding process for new talent in collaboration with the Academy Director, as new talent moves through the operation.
- Research and develop scouting events.
- Timely communication with all incoming leads and requests for information.
- Source potential candidates through various channels such as social media, professional networks groups, talent databases, referrals, networking, etc.
- Meet monthly program registration quotas and sales goals.
Qualifications
A strong New Faces Manager candidate requires an enthusiastic passion for the fashion and entertainment industry, with a driven goal-oriented personality. Exceptional oral and written communication skills are required, with extremely strong phone skills and the ability to set and close appointments over the phone.
- Fashion and film/television (cinema and audiovisual media) knowledge (EXPERIENCE PREFERRED).
- Friendly and approachable, with extraordinary people skills.
- Task management, attention to detail, organization, problem solving.
- Deadline management, goal setting, planning, accountability.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Bilingual (English/French)
- Experience and strong aptitude in sales and marketing.
- Social media and content creation.
