Nursing Home Administrator

W.G. Bishop Nursing Home (W.G.B.) is currently seeking a dynamic Administrator for a not-for-profit, 30-bed Nursing Home, located in Minto, NB.

The Administrator reports to a Board of Directors and ensures the home operates according to the strategic goals of W.G.B. and Nursing Home Services’ Standards and Regulations.

Requirements for this position is a bachelor’s degree in a health-related field and supplemented by training or experience in administration, financial management, and a minimum of 3 years management experience. Equivalent education and experience may be considered.

Your responsibilities will include effectively managing the financial and physical assets, and human resources. Leadership to be conducted in a manner that ensures each resident receives the highest quality of care. Most importantly, you will provide strong financial and budgetary decisions in collaboration with the Board of Directors. You will also keep a strong commitment to ensure our residents receive compassionate care in a safe and person-centered environment.

You will have excellent communication skills that will enable you to lead a team of 60+ employees. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Demonstrated financial and budgetary experience are necessary for this role.

Salary in accordance with Social Development’s Nursing Home Management’s pay scale. In addition, benefits include an extended health plan, pension, vacation, and sick time benefit are available.

This position requires you to be on-site and occasionally you will be required to travel within New Brunswick for meetings.
