Responsibilities
- Greeting and directs office visitors; giving instructions, having clients fill out data control sheets and updating contact information
- Answering, screening and routing incoming phone calls - track on respective client software; Scheduling appointments
- Data entry, filing and other clerical related duties
- Provide monthly bookkeeping to clients including bank reconciliations, bookkeeping
- Maintains security by following procedures; monitoring databases, spreadsheets and filings
- Maintaining confidentiality
- Manage the post, incoming and outgoing mail
- Provide Administrative Support to office staff
- Provide refreshments to Clients
Qualifications
- Proficiency in MS Office with expertise in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Ability to work independently with limited guidance and manage multiple time sensitive tasks simultaneously, above average work ethic, integrity, and motivation
- Possess strong organization, evaluation and problem-solving skills
- Detail oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment
- Experience using QuickBooks, Sage
- Excellent interpersonal skills and customer focus
- 1- 2 years of previous accounting experience in small business and prior financial experience would be an asset
