Office Administrator

Ruel Concrete Ltd. is seeking a qualified Office Administrator

for a full-time position in our Peace River, AB branch.

Daily/Routine Jobs:

• Customer Service – assist customers and accept payments, including credit card processing
• Data entry and filing (paper and electronic)
• Scale Operation – filling in accurate haul cards, billing
• Invoicing
• Accounts Receivable
• Fuel statement reconciliation
• Progress Reports and/or Spreadsheets
• Telephone Etiquette – answering and routing
• Employee timesheet entries, review and assistance
• Assist Accounts Payable
• Assist Dispatcher – scanning information and obtaining field ticket approvals
• Admin Tasks as needed by other Staff/Management
• Book hotel rooms as needed
• Responsible for opening and closing yard gate and office daily
• Maintain stationary supplies/coffee supplies/other office supplies
• Set-up and assisting employees with timekeeping and paystub systems
• Have a good working knowledge of all materials, services and locations of products we deal with

Qualifications/Experience:

• Knowledge of bookkeeping and general office practices
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) and customer service skills
• Very strong computer skills required
• Strong organization skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
• Knowledge of trucking or dispatch office procedures considered an asset

Schedule:

Monday – Friday & Minimum ½ day Saturdays as Hauls are scheduled.

Times: Approximately 7:00am to close. Flexibility will be compulsory, as you are required to open and tend to the scale until job completion. Weekend work during hauls will be required.

Salary: TBD based on experience and qualifications

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
