Raven Supply is a commercial/industrial heating equipment supplier located in Surrey, BC. We supply high-quality heating equipment to contractors in BC and the Yukon. We are looking for a full-time Office Administrator/Bookkeeper to join our growing team!
You would be responsible for all general office duties including, answering the phones, ordering office supplies, and managing inventory.
Accounting duties include:
· Managing activities relating to purchasing, inventory, accounts payable, accounts receivable, customer service;
· Monitoring and allocating profit margins, prepaid accounts;
· Responsible for managing and reporting financial information;
· Summarizing current financial status by collecting information, preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports;
· Preparation of financials for review at monthly meetings, month-end reconciliation;
· Maintaining accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures;
· Maintaining and enter information into databases;
· Guiding staff by coordinating activities and answering questions;
· Reconciling financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information;
· Maintaining financial security by following internal controls;
· Preparing payments by verifying documentation and requesting disbursements;
· Complying with federal, provincial, and local financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions;
· Preparing special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends;
· Preparing corporate year-end documentation;
