This is currently a part-time position with the opportunity to become full-time.
Responsibilities:
This position will:
- Work closely with the Executive Director to support essential Food Bank services;
- Complete all administration responsibilities including preparation of correspondence, presentations and reports as needed;
- Complete data entry, database management,
- Type, file and organize the office;
- Assist with the social media presence and maintain the website;
- Research and apply for applicable grants and funding;
- Organize, promote and attend fundraising events;
- Support LDFB departments and programs as required;
- Direct and answer enquires;
- Assist with recruitment and organization of volunteers;
- Other duties as required;

Skills and Experience
A minimum of two years experience working in an administrative position, preferably within a client centered organization;
- Completion of a diploma in administration;
- Demonstrated proficiency working with; Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access database software;
- Skilled in the preparation of written correspondence, statistical reports, promotional and resource materials;
- Strong social media skills for program promotion and community involvement;
- Must be able to stand and walk for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs as needed;

Salary: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 35 per week
