Job description

We are a Group Insurance and Pension Broker servicing Indigenous Organizations across Canada. We are in search of an Office Administrator/Receptionist in Winnipeg to join our team of enthusiastic high achievers dedicated to creating a positive client experience. The individual in this role will actively contribute to the success of Life Inc. by providing administration support and reception duties.

As the Office Administrator/Receptionist, you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Manage reception (phone calls, receiving mail, courier), and being director of first impressions for anyone coming to our office. This means, ensuring that an excellent standard of service and a high level of client satisfaction is maintained as the first point of contact in our office.
  • Provide administrative support for group benefit and group retirement inquiries and client requests in conjunction with the service representatives and service coordinators.
  • You will handle incoming client inquiries as needed related to Group Insurance and Group Retirement along with administration related projects/tasks as assigned.
  • Troubleshooting and responding to client inquiries in a polite and courteous manner.
  • Scanning and processing incoming / outgoing forms and handling executing administrative requests.
  • Working with your team, you will take a solution-based approach to client inquiries and engage the appropriate members of our team to assist in resolving and answering client questions or concerns.
  • Other duties as assigned.

To be successful as an Office Administrator/Receptionist with Life Benefit Solutions Inc., you will need:

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Time management & organizational abilities
  • The ability to perform tasks with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • A passion for ensuring a positive client experience
  • Previous experience in an office setting or as a Receptionist (an asset)
  • Insurance/group benefits industry experience (an asset)
