Calgary Yacht Club (CYC) Office Administrator
Job Description
Working in collaboration with the Club Manager and Head Coach, the Office Administrator will be responsible for the administrative side of the Summer Camp and Sailing School Programs. This includes communicating with parents, assisting with registrations, helping participants get from the front gate and to their proper program, and other administrative duties as assigned by the Club Manager. Simply put, the job of the Office Administrator is to do the work that needs to be done to have participants get into the proper programs, know where to go when on site, and be responsible for the participants from the gate until they are being supervised by their Sailing Instructor and the Head Coach.
The Office Administrator will also assist with the promotion of programming and keeping up with the inventory of assets onsite. They will also assist members with their inquires. The successful applicant will have the ability to be flexible with tasks and to be a collaborative team player. Experience working with children and teenagers is an asset. Experience in participating in and/or leading summer camp programs is also an asset. A criminal record check with vulnerable sector check will be required for this role.
Hours - Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm
Type of Employment - Seasonal May – August 2024
Rate of Pay - $20 - $25 an hour
