Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Trucking Office Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the efficient operations of our trucking department by managing administrative tasks, coordinating logistics, and ensuring seamless communication between drivers, dispatchers, and other stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
1. Administrative Support:
- Handle day-to-day administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and maintaining accurate records.
- Assist in the preparation of reports, invoices, and other documentation.
2. Logistics Coordination:
- Coordinate and schedule trucking routes, ensuring optimal efficiency in delivery operations.
- Communicate with drivers to provide necessary information and support throughout their routes.
3. *Communication:*
- Serve as a central point of contact between drivers, dispatchers, and management.
- Respond promptly to inquiries and resolve issues to maintain smooth communication channels.
4. *Documentation and Compliance:*
- Ensure that all necessary permits, licenses, and documentation are up-to-date and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with relevant authorities to address regulatory matters.
5. Inventory Management:
- Track and manage inventory levels, coordinating with warehouse staff to optimize stock levels for efficient operations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in administrative roles, preferably within the trucking or logistics industry.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in using office software and logistics management tools.
Requirements:
- Certification in office administration or logistics is a plus but is not required
- Familiarity with trucking industry regulations and documentation.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
