Crazy/Busy Strata & Property Management Office in need of Multitasker/Cinderella…
To assist in all things office work…
At HOMETIME Realty & Property Management, our days are not typically structured, they are more like an episode of Star Wars, with tasks coming at us from every direction. Our target? Our main objective? Customer service and getting as many of those tasks done in a day… with still putting out hypothetical fires as they pop up & veer us in different directions…
So, if you do better in an environment where you can come in and know what your day & tasks will be, that’s great! But unfortunately, this position and environment will not suit you.
Do you like filing and paperwork? We have tons of that!
Do you like emails & phone calls? Look no further!
How about typing letters, or long documents, or perhaps spreadsheets?
How about meeting deadlines? And working under pressure?

We are seeking an individual who can put up with negativity, not take it personally, & come out on the other side victorious in their positivity! So much so, that they even come back to work the next day!
We also need our new team member to have their own reliable transportation, for traveling to after-hours meetings, or pick up keys, or meet with a contractor, etc, etc.
We cannot work remotely… We are a hands-on office. We need to see your smiling face at work, and hand you things, like documents, and ask you to research things that are found in these old metal boxes called file cabinets. Retro is in!
Extended Health Care? Why yes, we have that too! (after a successful 3 month probationary period)
How many hours you ask? 34.5 per week. (plus after hours meetings)
Wage you ask? $18.50-$20 based on experience
- Could be more if you are a Licensed Strata Manager, and based on portfolio size
Must:
- Be bondable, honest, reliable, reliable, reliable, did we mention reliable?
- Be able to work in a team, on your own as a self-starter, and in an office full of women.
- Already live in Penticton, or ‘immediate’ surrounding area. (we are not interested in those that are not already here)
- Have a ‘current’ working knowledge of computers, typing skills, Excel, Word, Windows, and accounting software experience an asset.
- Have ‘current’ office experience: Phone Calls, Emails, Letter Writing, Filing, Photocopying, Scanning, Customer Service experience, etc.
- Have a 'current & active' BC Drivers License.
