The Chamber coordinates a variety of events throughout the year, from small networking events to large community festivals.
Job Description:
- The Ideal candidate will be high energy, a self starter with the abilities to manage their time and assist the Chamber in a busy environment. The ideal candidate will be self motivated, but a team player, a good communicator, organized/punctual/reliable, and tech savvy. A positive attitude and flexible to the changing requirements are a must and is key for a good fit! Strong focus on member relations/customer service
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare correspondence, including photocopying, faxing, mailing, delivery and filing
- Properly maintain workspace to reflect professional image
- Assist in planning Chamber events
- Communication with members, customers, and Board
- Reception duties – answer telephones and emails, book/confirm appointments·
- Prepare social media posts, Digital and Print Marketing
Required Qualifications:
- Extremely detailed oriented
- Creative and resourceful
- Proficient with email marketing software
- Must have excellent grammatical and communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills and experience
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft office suite
- Ability to work as a part of a team
- Respectful, Professional, Enthusiastic, Positive attitude,
- Good working knowledge of Canva (would be good)
Job Type: Part-time
Salary: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
