JOB PURPOSE
As a member of our customer service team, the Office Assistant is responsible for greeting patients at the reception desk, answering incoming calls in a timely and courteous manner, and assisting with office related tasks.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Below is a list of some key responsibilities of an Office Assistant. The responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Provide excellent customer service to patients of Hawkesbury Therapy.
- Schedule appointments with patients and complete payments.
- Complete patient profiles.
- Offer information about the services at Hawkesbury Therapy.
- Make photocopies, complete scans, or fax documents.
- Complete online billing for patients.
- Generate e-mails, memos, and reports when appropriate.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Office administration experience and/or diploma
- Bilingual (English and French)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to engage with customers in a friendly manner with a high level of respect and professionalism.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and French.
- Detail-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment with a high level of multitasking skills.
- Superior organizational skills and dedication to completing tasks in a timely manner.
WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- The hours will vary between 9:00am-8:00pm depending on the demand.
- This is an office-based job in Hawkesbury, Ontario.
