Office Assistant

We are looking for a reliable Office Assistant to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks in a family physician's office.

Current Hourly rate starting at $21.44 plus annual raise structure annually adjusted for inflation, holiday bonus packages.

We are looking for someone with a passion for interacting with people, handling of phone calls, work with the Telus EMR system for bookings and check in, reviewing with physicians and staff regularly, and a positive work ethic and team dynamic.

Medical terminology experience or other experience an asset to the position, but you can learn on the job as well.

Hiring now for 10-20 hours weekly with opportunities for extra shifts. Schedule offers 1 hour lunch break with variable day length based on availability. Opportunities for advancement to positions with clinical applications and assisting physicians with procedures in clinic.

Position requires a signed confidentiality agreement to work with our team, as maintaining patient privacy is required!

Available immediately upon review following interview. Please note there may be a paid trial period of 3 months prior to renewal of contract!
