We are looking for an energetic, outgoing personality for this position! This is not a full time desk job but every day will be different! The individual will be an ambassador for Sparkling Hill and will provide leadership and strategic planning to all departments in support of our service culture, maximized operations and guest satisfaction.
The Operations Manager support shall include but is not limited to the following:
- Champion Sparkling Hill’s Mission, Vision and Values
- Build the management team and organization including staff planning and the maintenance of productivity levels
- Ensuring the highest level of guest satisfaction and employee satisfaction
- Play a lead role in revenue management for Rooms
- Ensure the smooth operation and co-ordination of the operating departments throughout their respective Department Heads, responding to forecasted business levels
- Function as a key member of the leadership team
- Take responsibility for all guest concerns with follow-up
- Responsible for implementation and delivery of all service essentials
- Participate in the hotel procedures and ensure they are kept up to date
- Adhere to and promote all Health & Safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe work environment
- Review all contracts
- Manage all guest communication systems (guest directly, in-house, etc.)
- Other duties as assigned
- Provide Human Resource support to all department heads
- Will directly oversee Rooms Division (Front Office, Housekeeping), Maintenance and KurSpa
The individual must be able to:

- Work weekends, morning and evening shifts. This position is full-time (5 days a week) and would involve a variety of shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays
Requirements:
- HR Knowledge
- Previous leadership experience (3+ years)
- Keen eye for cleanliness and attention to details
- Team builder with excellent motivation skills and coaching ability
- Exceptional written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Analytic skills, strength as a developer and a leader of others, creativity, and strong planning skills are essential
- Clearly able to think outside the box
- Highly responsible and reliable
