Out Of School Care Coach

Sunridge Out of School Care (OOSC) is a Christian faith-based ministry in West Kelowna. We strive to have a fun, rewarding, and supportive work place environment where our goal is to provide an exciting and safe place where children are loved exactly for who they are.

$19/hr to start and will be moved up to $24.60/hr after probationary period.

Staff (we call you "Coaches" here), will be tasked with caring for kids from Marjok and Rose Valley Elementary schools between 1:45-6pm. During the day you will:

• pray for the kids and families before each shift
• supervise play and safety
• provide first aid when needed
• play with the children and lead activities with them
• perform simple cleaning and sanitation tasks
• organize play things and learning centers
• sign children in and Out of the attendance binders
• Go on out-trips to various parks and playgrounds during spring and summer camps

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: From $24.60 per hour

Expected hours: 17.5 – 21.75 per week

Flexible Language Requirement:

• French not required

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday

• Overtime pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

• West Kelowna, BC V1Z 1G1: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

• Secondary School (required)
