Overview
Commercial Truck Equipment Salespeople are the main conduit between Canada’s municipalities, solid waste contractors, and us. It’s their job to anticipate, understand, and define customer needs for their fleets, put together professional and competitive bids, and then work hand-in-hand with the customer from pre-construction through to delivery of their trucks. To that end, we’re searching for our next Outside Salesperson for an Ontario territory, working remotely, independently, and traveling provincially and internationally when necessary. Reasonable proximity to our Ayr, ON branch and YYZ or YXU would also be important.
The individual who would be successful in this role will probably come to us with some manner of knowledge in the work truck or heavy equipment space, as well as previous sales and territory management experience. The successful candidate will also be familiar with the RFP/RFQ process and bring a level of confidence in business writing and communication.
Training and product familiarization will be provided to the successful candidate, and forms an ongoing part of the job, but the successful candidate will know how to build and maintain strong social and professional relationships, be technically savvy, and have a very strong drive to win with a sales mindset.
